This card was so much fun to make. I love the hexagon die and used it to make a shaker card. Instead of using acrylic for the windows, I used netting. It gives a different texture and fun element to the card.

I decided to be a bit fanciful and created a pink and yellow bee. She's embracing her diva personality!

There are 4 of the most adorable cottages included in the Sweet As Honey collection. I know you'll have have as much fun creating with 'Sweet As Honey' as I did.

 instructions
Cut card base from white card stock 9 3/4” x 6”, score and fold at 4 1/8”. Cut blue card stock 3 7/8” x 5 7/8”, adhere to card front. Cut yellow card stock 4” x 5 7/8”, die cut both sides with Border Essentials Die. Adhere to card front. Using the 6” x 6” panel from the design paper that has the yellow house and orange bee maiden, cut it in half vertically and cut off 1/8” from the top.
To make the shaker panel, use the smallest hexagon die and die cut 3 hexagons in the center of the 3” x 5 7/8” piece with the house on it. Start 3/8” from the bottom and space them slightly less than 3/8” apart. Using the 2 smallest hexagon dies, die cut 3 frames. Adhere to hexagon cut outs. Cut a piece of white card stock 2 7/8” x 5 3/4” and stamp the honeycomb with Saddle Brown. Color the flowers with Prismacolor pencils. Cut 2 pieces of
tulle 2 3/4” x 5 3/4". On the back side of the panel with the hexagon cut outs, put score tape around each hexagon. Place one piece of tulle over the panel. Add the glitter sequins in the openings. Add another layer of score tape around the hexagons and add the second piece of tulle. Add the foam tape around the outside of the panel (over the tulle) with dries clear adhesive and add to the piece with the stamped image. Add the entire panel to the card front.
For the inside of the card, cut 2 pieces of yellow cardstock 3 1/4" x 5 7/8”, die cut one side of each with the border die. Cut one piece of white cardstock 2 1/4" x 5 7/8”. Stamp the sentiment with Jet Black ink. Adhere the sentiment to one of the yellow pieces and add to the inside as shown. Add the right side of the design paper panel left over from the 6” x 6” (cut to 5 7/8” high) to the second yellow piece and add to the card. Stamp ‘you are beautiful’ with Jet Black ink, fussy cut into banner shape and add to card. Stamp the bungalow, peonies used on the inside, maiden and bees with Saddle Brown and color with Prismacolor pencils. Die cut and add the flowers, bungalow and bee to the inside of the card as shown. Stamp the crown with VersaMark and emboss with Gold. Stamp the pink peonies with Worn Lipstick and ink the edges with Magenta Hue. Stamp the yellow peonies with Cantaloupe. Die cut the flowers and then shape with the 3D Mold and Shaping Essentials. Adhere three pink flower layers together, adding the cream Assorted Bead Stamens, Medium to the pink flowers. Use one layer for the yellow flowers and add the white Pastel Pearl Stamens, small. Die cut the honeycomb and tear off a section to fit in the corner under the flower cluster. Make a bow and wrap eyelash trim around the center. Use hot glue to assemble everything to the honeycomb piece and then add to the card front. Add the crown to the honeybee maiden, use Wink of Stella on her and the bees wings and Light Yellow glitter to the maidens body.  Add her to the card with foam tape. Add the bees.
Thanks so much for visiting and have a blessed day!
