The focus of the front is the door which is a Heartfelt Creations stamp, HCPC 3440-Vintage Door PreCut Set. I stamped it on DP in Fired Brick Distress Ink, cut it out, and then used the MS studded heart punch to cut out the middle. I added some acetate on the back to support the swirl bling and then added a rhinestone heart on the door handle. I printed out the sentiment and added it with pop dots.
I stamped HCPC 3304 Posy Patch Swirls PreCut Set on the DP and embossed in gold. The DP is some Anna Griffin paper that I've been hoarding, it's almost gone (sigh).
The flap of the bag creates a pocket for a tag.
The pocket will hold a small gift, I added a page with pictures.
We have 3 boys ( the baby is now 45!) One thing I wish I would have done different is add an older picture of the baby, he is actually the oldest of the boys. I want to add some handwritten journaling. ( my spell checker says I spelled 'journaling' wrong so I checked the dictionary, it says there is no such word! Oh well, there is now,LOL!)
and 3 girls. They are now all grown, some married and have 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. How time has flown!
The back.
Somehow, this has become a gift for me. My mother was born May 22, 1921 and passed away in April 1968. So many happy memories!
Thank you so much for visiting and have a blessed day!
