Believe

Hello, dear friends!  Today I am sharing a card made with this sweet image from Lacy Sunshine.  In case you haven't heard, Heather has a 'Loyalty Program'; if you use one of her images for the challenge, she very generously offers a free image.  I must admit, I'm somewhat addicted to her images and love collecting them.

I couldn't find any blue paper that fit my image so I used Ranger Faded Jeans distress ink to color my paper.  And then I dug in my scrap box to find some DP for the background.  The sentiment was created in PSE and die cut.  I used my Clear Star pen on her wings and some gold Stickles on the books, which makes the card sparkly, even though it doesn't show in the pics.

Some challenges I would like to enter
Lacy Sunshine:  back to school
Clear It Out:  fav color combo (blue, yellow, pink); anything goes
Fan-Tastic Tuesday:  #50 anything goes
Inky Chicks:  #36 Fairies or Angels

Hap-Bee Birthday

Hello friends!  Today I'm taking a few liberties with the word 'happy'.  I'm not sure I should have done that; sometimes I worry people won't get what I'm trying to say, LOL.

This is another awesome image from Heather at Lacy Sunshine.  I copied the two bees in Photoshop Elements, enlarged them and added them to the hand stitched border.  I love the ruler I bought from Stampin' Up,  makes it so easy to add the piercing.

Sweet Victorian Lizabeth

Today I'm sharing a card using  Victorian Lizabeth from Lacy Sunshine.

Lately, I've been trying to make cards with less embellishments to make them easier to mail, but this incredibly sweet image just made me go back to my shabby chic roots.  The background is made with the 3 largest dies from the Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 set.  The swirls, sentiment and larger flowers are stamps and die cuts from Heartfelt Creations; the smaller flowers are punched and colored with distress inks.  I added pearl centers and then finished with some Stickles.  I also added some Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel around the image, which has been colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
