Heartfelt Creations September Alumni Blog Hop


Hello friends! It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.   All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the hop. Hop starts 8am EST on Friday Sept. 29th and closes Monday Oct. 2nd at 11:59pm EST

 The first thing I will have to do is apologize for using a paper pack that is no longer available.  I've been working on this journal for 2 months and forgot to check again before I posted.  However, there are some products used that are still available.
I used a hard cover and cut out the center.  It's covered with crumbled up sewing tissue paper, painted black, then dry brushed with white and gold.

I used the easy twine method for the spine.

I'll post a video that shows the entire book.  It's much easier than taking photos of all the pages.

    Very beautiful! The video won't play where can I view it! YouTube??? Let me know I'd love to learn this type of binding.

      When you click on the video you'll see the word 'YouTube' in the bottom right corner. Click on that and it will take you to youtube. If you search 'easy twine binding' on youtube, you'll find the tutorial for the binding. Kagedfish has a good one. Thanks!

I like that you used that "Set an d Paper as I wasn't sure how to use it ... now I am. Great Ideas, I have three daughters that will be in line for this one!
