Chalkboard Technique

It's the last Tuesday of the month, which means the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Designers are having their monthly hop...our theme is always Anything Goes with our Heartfelt products!

Have you seen and tried the chalkboard technique?  It's become one of my favorite techniques!  I love using ornate designs for this and Heartfelt Creations has gorgeous stamps that work beautifully! 

Stamp on black cardstock and emboss in white.  Overstamp in white pigment ink to create a shadow and then rub some white ink around to look like chalk.  That's it, and so pretty!  I used a glitter gel pen to color the heart.

Hymn and Scripture Chalenge

Patter has chosen one of my favorite songs for this weeks hymn challenge.  You'll want to make sure and read all her information about this song on her blog, Triple The Scraps.  It is an amazing story!  It makes me ashamed of how out of sorts I can get about such minor things.  

To be able to pen such an amazing song during such heartache and tragedy is indeed a testimony of the incredible peace that can come only from a deep relationship with our Father, God.

There's No One Like You

Today I have a card that is purple, blue, and green.  Yes, it's light green, my camera isn't cooperating.  I used the Delicate Asters Paper Collection from Heartfelt Creations, which includes the sentiment, also.   The punched butterflies are painted with Creative Inspirations Paints, Sea Foam and Antique Copper.  These paints are so beautifully shimmery!
