Hap-Bee Birthday

Hello friends!  Today I'm taking a few liberties with the word 'happy'.  I'm not sure I should have done that; sometimes I worry people won't get what I'm trying to say, LOL.

This is another awesome image from Heather at Lacy Sunshine.  I copied the two bees in Photoshop Elements, enlarged them and added them to the hand stitched border.  I love the ruler I bought from Stampin' Up,  makes it so easy to add the piercing.

Sweet Victorian Lizabeth

Today I'm sharing a card using  Victorian Lizabeth from Lacy Sunshine.

Lately, I've been trying to make cards with less embellishments to make them easier to mail, but this incredibly sweet image just made me go back to my shabby chic roots.  The background is made with the 3 largest dies from the Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 set.  The swirls, sentiment and larger flowers are stamps and die cuts from Heartfelt Creations; the smaller flowers are punched and colored with distress inks.  I added pearl centers and then finished with some Stickles.  I also added some Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel around the image, which has been colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

Heather Valentin from Lacy Sunshine has created some amazing new images, HobGobbis!  They are so much fun to color and design with.  This one is Tiny Eveninpuff HobGobbi.

I've colored the image with Prismacolor pencils.  For the green stripe on the paper I used some red line tape and then covered it with green glitter.  The image is on pop dots and the tag is from Heartfelt Creations.

Hello friends!  We have another fun new challenge for you at Digitally Sweet Challenges.

Theme

Our children used to love Mother Goose rhymes.  When I saw 'Miss Muffet' I knew she would be perfect for this weeks challenge.  I colored her with Prismacolor pencils and then scanned her back into Photoshop Elements.  I then used the gradient tool to create the background.

So now it's your turn to show us your creativity!

DSC#25 Let's Have a Birthday Party!

It's time for a new challenge at Digitally 'Sweet' Challenges

                                                Theme:
                                              Birthdays

                                           Sponsered by
                                      Digi Darla Designs
Prize: 5 images of your choice

My husbands birthday will be in a few days and so I chose this wonderful car image.  I clipped some paper to it and used my dodge and burn tools in Photoshop Elements to add some highlights and shading.  I wanted to make the card look 3-D but I'm not sure I got the proportions correct.  Still working on that!  Now I can print out the card front, minus the dk. brown border, and add it to a card base.

I really hope you will join us at Digitally 'Sweet' Challenges, we love to see all your creative projects!  The only thing to remember is that it has to be 100% digital, which means that no part has been created off the computer.
