Hello friends! It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.
All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the
hop. Hop starts 8am EST on Tuesday Oct.27th and closes Friday Oct. 30th at midnight.
We are planning a trip and so I created a fauxdori to record all the fun we are expecting to have. I used Kraft Tex as the base. This is an awesome product for this type of project. I used Heat n Bond to adhere the paper to the Kraft Tex. I cut a hair band in half for the closure and then stamped the bicycle on some shrink plastic to create the charm.
The inside of the cover has a pocket. I used plastic from some die packaging to make the dashboard which you can't really see since I don't have anything on it yet.
A few of the notebooks I created. Some are blank pages and some are graph paper for practicing my lettering and doodling.
A folder made with envelopes to hold all our receipts.
Some faux washi tape made with masking tape.
Some sticky notes.
A zipper pocket made from a quart size baggie; this is the other half of the dashboard.
This is the second fauxdori I've made; I'm surprised at how much I enjoy using these. I hope this inspires you to make one of your own, they're very easy to make.
From here you will hop to Kathy's blog.
