I created a tag with this sweet little girl image which you can find at Lunagirl.  The decorative elements are all little bits and pieces of digital kits that I've collected over the years.

On my last post I was complaining about the cold.  We have now had 2 of the most glorious 70 degree days and my flower beds are starting to look much better after cleaning out all the winter debris.  And thank you Tracy for the rain, LOL.  I'll spend the day inside, crafting.

It's Time

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for some Heartfelt Creations inspiration.  I have some catching up to do so today you will find 3 cards.  First up is a gatefold card.

Instructions: cut white cardstock 6" x 12", score at 2 1/8" and 6 3/8".  Fold at score lines. For center panel, cut black cardstock 4 1/2" x 6 1/4", red 4 3/8" x 6 1/8", design paper 4 1/8" x 5 7/8", edge red card with gold pen, adhere all layers together and then add to card. For 2 side panels, cut black cardstock 2 1/8" x 6 1/4", red 2" x 6 1/8", design paper 1 7/8" x 5 7/8", edge red card with gold and then adhere all layers together and then add to card. Stamp image, color, die cut and add to card. Stamp, die cut clocks and add with foam tape. Cut tickets from design paper, edge with gold pen, add to sides and add flat back pearls. Add lace. For front, cut 2 each of black 2 1/8" x 6 3/8", red 2" x 6 1/4", and design paper 1 3/4" x 6". Edge red with gold pen and then adhere layers together. Add to card.  Glue ribbon to back and right side of front, leaving ends long enough to tie on left side. Stamp image, color, spray with hair spray, add embossing enamel die cut. Add to Raindrops on Roses die cut. Glue to right panel only.

Instructions: For card base, cut white cardstock 6" x 9 1/4", fold in half. Cut pink design paper 5 3/4" x 4 3/8", add to card. Cut white cardstock 5 3/8" x 4". Cut card panel from design paper and add to white. Add this to card with foam tape. Stamp and die cut image. Color with chalk, spray with hair spray, add embossing enamel, add to card with foam tape. Stamp and die cut clock faces, color with inks. Stamp flowers on pink cardstock, shape, add pearl center and Stickles. Cut out tags from design paper. Add everything to card as shown.

Instructions: cut white cardstock 5 1/2" x 10 1/2". Score at 1 1/4", 2 1/2", 4 1/4", 6", and 8 1/4". Fold on score lines. Stamp brick collage, tear around edges,ink edges and color with chalk, spray with hair spray. Cut design paper 4 3/8" x 5 3/8", add lace and image, add to back stairstep. Cut design paper 1 5/8" x 5 3/8", add to center step. Cut stamp designs from design paper, add to front step. Stamp and die cut clocks and flowers. Shape flowers, add pearls. Add Glossy Accents to the 2 smaller clocks, add to card. Stamp and color alarm clock, color, add rhinestones, cut out. Die cut swirl from white cardstock, floral oval from blue cardstock. Adhere all 3 together. Add to center step. Cut ticket, add to step. Cut stamps from design paper and add to front step.

Instructions: Cut cream cardstock 4 3/4" x 6 3/4". Die cut Blossom Corner and add to back of tag, at the top. Cut DP 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", die cut the Romantic Rectangle from the center, add the outside of the piece to the tag. Add lace to the center piece and add to tag with foam tape. Stamp image, die cut and ink around the edge, add embossing enamel; add to Floral Oval die cut. Add to tag with foam tape. Stamp and die cut leaves and flowers. Add to tag with rhinestones. Stamp and die cut circle sentiment and butterfly. Add Stickles and then add circle to tag with pop dots. Cut ticket from DP, add everything to tag as shown.

Die cut Raindrops on Roses lace, sponge with Victorian Velvet. Add to card. Die cut the largest Romantic Rectangle from blue cardstock. Cut the next size from white, add brads, add both to card. Stamp and color image, die cut with oval die, ink edges. Add to card with foam tape. Add rhinestone corner. Stamp, die cut flowers, add pearl and add to card with seam binding bow. Stamp, die cut sentiment, add to card with foam tape. Cut ticket from DP, add to card with foam tape.

Raindrops on Roses Lace Book

Hello friends, what a lovely day it is!  Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday!  Today I have a lace book I'd like to share with you but I must warn you, this is a L-O-N-G post!  Can I get you a cup of coffee while we take a look?  O,K. here goes.

Almost all of my laces were purchased at thrift stores.  Look for lace curtains or even clothing with pretty lace.  My most expensive purchase was the wedding lace I used for the cover.  Thank goodness I only needed a small piece!  But I loved the sparkles, which aren't showing in the pictures.  The cream lace is a bit darker in the picture than IRL.

Instructions: to create book, cut 4 pieces of muslin 9" x 16" and 2 pieces of batting 8 1/2" x 15 1/2". Layer laces on one side of each muslin piece, keeping in mind that each piece makes 2 pages. Keep the stitching back 1/2" from the edge. Stamp image and then iron interfacing to back, color image and hand stitch bead necklace. Sew image in place. Add pleated trim and beads around image with hot glue. Stamp, emboss, and die cut flowers. Form flowers, add Stickles. Color seam binding with Forest Moss. Cut out tags from design paper. Add everything as shown with hot glue. After everything is adhered to all the pages, layer 1 batting piece inside 2 muslin pages, wrong side together. The edges are left raw. The pages are then layered together and sewn down the middle.

See the green lace?  It's from a lace camisole.  The color is a bit strong, so I only let a little bit peak out.

page 3 for this image, I stamped and colored the image, and then drew a circle on the back, turned back the edges and hand stitched around it. I then glued it to the doily.  I felt she needed an audience for her story.

page 5  for this page I used some cheesecloth to create the curtains. When I was finished, I asked my husband if I should include the fence and puppy and he gave me a resounding "yes". So there it is.
