Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hello friends!  Here's a fun card with the Oakberry Lane Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

This cute little squirrel was just the right image to create this open aperture card.

You can barely see the clear nylon string so he looks like he's suspended in mid air.  You'll find all the directions on how to make this card for yourself below.

instructions

Cut card base from white card stock, 11” x 5 1/2", fold in half. Place the 3.5” x 3.5” circle from the Eyelet Circle & Basics Small die in the center of the card and die cut. Cut a piece from a 12” x 12” piece of design paper, 5 3/8” square. Cut the 3.5” circle from the design paper to match the card front. Place the 4” eyelet circle and the 3.5” circle together on white card stock and cut to form a frame. Cut 2 of these, one for the outside and one for the inside. Stamp squirrel from Furry-Tailed Frolic stamp set on white card stock with Saddle Brown. Color with Prismacolor pencils. Die cut. Die cut another piece from blue design paper, making sure to place the die on the side you don’t want to show.  Add the 5 1/4" piece of nylon thread on the back of the image, centering it as much as possible. Add the blue piece over the thread. Measure the center of the card vertically, and place the nylon thread on the lines with scor-tape, on the right side of the card. Adhere the design paper with the circle cut out. Add the frame. Stamp the sentiment from the Furry-Tailed Frolic stamp set on white card stock with Jet
Black. Cut out by hand. Add Diamond Stickles around the edge. Add to card with foam tape. Stamp the flowers with Wild Honey and Worn Lipstick on white card stock. Stamp the leaves with Bamboo Leaves. Die cut and form with the 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold. Add stamens. Add 2 sets of leaves, 2 single layer pink flowers, and 2 single layer wild honey flowers to the card with hot glue. Add a bow and flat backed pearl to the top center of the circle frame. Inside: From a 6” square piece of design paper, cut a piece 5 3/8” square, add to card behind the squirrel. Add the white card stock frame around the circle cut out.

Thanks so much for visiting and have a blessed day!
