Heartfelt Creations February Alumni Blog Hop

Hello friends! It's that time again when we are hosting the Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop. As always, you will have the chance to win a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations.   All you have to do is comment on each blog that is participating in the hop. Hop starts 8am EST on Friday February 23rd and closes Monday February 26th, 2018 at 11:59pm EST.

This card is on its way to a very dear friend of mine.  Even though the design paper is part of a Christmas collection; the soft, restful colors will work anytime of year.

There are lots of layers and I love to use the Decorative Blossom Corner Die to create the lacy insert at the corner.

There's a little wooden bird atop a feather.  The flowers are stamped on the design paper and embossed in white.

Since I was mailing this card, I also created a box.

Boxes are so easy to make and add an extra special touch of luxury.

Here you can see a better view of the corner die.  So pretty! The white lace was created by die cutting once with the Ornate Borders Die and then positioning the die on the opposite side and die cutting again to create one piece. I only stamped the word 'Love' from the sentiment stamp.
