Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hello friends! It's Heartfelt Creations inspiration Wednesday and today I'm sharing a very simple to construct card.

I let the design paper from the 'Merry and Bright collection' do most of the work for me. I love the image of the cardinal and the blue reminds me of a clear, crisp winter day. I also love metallic gold paper and use it quite often because of the sparkle and shine it adds. And don't you love the font for 'Merry Christmas'? Perfect!

From white card stock, die cut the Intricate Swirl Frames Die. Adhere to card front. From design paper 6” square with dots, cut a piece 1 1/2" x 5 7/8”, adhere to left side of frame. Cut a piece of white card stock 2 1/2" x 5 7/8”, die cut edge with small scallop die from Classic Border Basics Die. From 12” x 12” piece of design paper, cut out the cardinal 3 5/8” x 5 7/8”. Die cut the left edge with just the cutting edge die from the Classic Border Basics Die. Adhere to the white die cut piece. Adhere to the card with foam tape. On white card stock, 1 3/8” x 1 1/2", stamp the sentiment, using the Silent Night Scroll stamp with Jet Black. Round the left edges with the 3/8” corner rounder. Emboss with the Stampendous shabby white from underneath. Drag the edge of the card stock through the VersaMark pad, add the clear gold embossing powder, and emboss. From pink designer paper, cut a piece 3 1/8” x 1 1/2", round the left edges with the 3/8” corner rounder. Emboss around the edge with clear gold. From gold mirror card, die cut a piece with the scallop Border Essentials Die. Adhere to the top and bottom of the pink designer paper. Add the white sentiment piece to the pink piece with foam tape. Stamp the pine branches with the Snowy Pine Village Stamp and the leaves with the Merry and Bright Accents Stamp, with Bamboo Leaves, color lightly with Bamboo Leaves and Magenta Hue and die cut. Stamp flower with the Magenta Hue and die cut. Add Wink of Stella to leaves and flower. Add leaves to card front and then add sentiment panel with foam tape. Add gold thread, bow and flower.
