Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday

Hello friends! It's a beautiful day and time for another Heartfelt Creations Inspiration Wednesday. I have 2 cards to share, both made with the beautiful Backyard Blossoms Collection.

I've been loving this collection for the ability it gives me to make some CAS (clean and simple) cards. The beautiful colors and design paper make it very easy to make gorgeous cards with a minimum of time and effort. Here are the products and instructions.

Instructions:

For the card base, cut white card stock 5 1/2” x 8 1/2", fold in half. Cut yellow design paper 4” x 5 1/4", add to card base. Cut purple floral design paper 3 3/4" x 5”, add to card. Die cut tag from white card stock and add stitching lines with Micron pen. Cut yellow design paper 2 5/8” x 4” to layer tag. Cut corners to match tag. Add lace to yellow layer and add to card with foam tape. Add ribbon to tag and add to yellow layer with foam tape. Stamp flower and butterfly with Smokey Grey, color with Prismacolor pencils and die cut. Shape flower and add foam tape to center, adhere to card. Die cut sentiment with Luggage and Tags die and add to tag, add glitter dot and butterfly. Spritz with glimmer mist. White card stock; Vellum; VersaFine, Smokey Grey;  Prismacolor pencils, Pale Sage, Apple Green, Grass Green, Rose, Blush Pink, Mulberry, Violet, Canary Yellow, Pale Vermillion, Spanish Orange, Tuscan Red; white ribbon; Tattered Angels glimmer mist, gold; foam tape; Krylon Gold Leafing Pen; Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder

Instructions:
Cut card base with white card stock 5 ½” x 8 ½”, fold in half.  Cut purple design paper 4” x 5 1/4", add to card. Cut a piece of white card stock 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". Die cut the top of the paper with the Ornate Borders die. Do not use the bottom cutting piece. Trim the piece to 3 1/2" x 5”. Use honeycomb embossing folder on the tag portion only. Cut a piece of vellum 1 1/4" x 5”. Stamp sentiment in center with Jet Black ink. Edge piece with gold leafing pen. Wrap around tag and adhere on back. Add to card. Stamp images on white cardstock with Smokey Grey and color with Prismacolor pencils. Die cut flowers, birds and butterfly. Add to card. Spritz with glimmer mist. Add bow.
