Heartfelt Creations Wednesday Inspiration

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a project that includes someone very dear to my heart. She's our youngest grandchild.
Miss Alaina Joy. How many of you remember this song from your childhood? So appropriate for this young lady who brings such joy to our hearts.
You'll find the instructions below for how I created this cardboard canvas.

Cut a piece of lightweight chipboard and cardboard 7 1/2" square. Adhere together with Decou-Page. Tear off the top layer of cardboard. Paint front and back with gesso, leaving a little cardboard showing. Add one of the 6” square card panels to the cardboard. Add some Gala Glitz to modeling paste and apply around the edge of the paper. Stamp Backyard Blossom and bird with Smokey Grey then color with Prismacolor pencils and die cut.  Die cut the floral oval frame and die cut the photo with the classic ovals large. Stamp the Sweet Peony on foam paper with worn lipstick. Die cut and shape by holding against a barely warm iron for about 5 seconds. Use 2 layers of petals for each flower. Add Bridal Bouquet Stamens in center with adhesive. Stamp 5 small Sweet Peony flowers to create garland on white card stock with worn lipstick and die cut. Print words from computer and cut out.  Die cut joy, joy with Luggage and Tags die. Stamp heart leaf filler from Rain Boots and Blossoms onto white cardstock, color with glitter gel pens and die cut. Punch heart with Fiskers punch from design paper and vellum. Edge vellum with Krylon pen, add dots with gold Wink of Stella. Adhere hearts together in center only. Punch 2 small holes in center and add embroidery floss.

To assemble, add cheesecloth on left side under flowers. Add lace with Fabric Fusion. Add photo to frame and add to panel with flowers overlapping. Add foam flowers.  Add words, bird, leaf stem and heart. String 5 flowers on embroidery floss and add. Punch 2 holes at top, add eyelets and ribbon hanger.

Thank you so much for visiting and have a blessed day!
