Heartfelt Creations July Alumni Blog Hop

Hello, sweet friends!  Once again it's time for our Heartfelt Creations Alumni Blog Hop!

The winner of this hop will receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Heartfelt Creations, you just need to email Emma Lou with "Winner of July Alumni Hop" in the subject line.  The hop will close on Friday Aug. 1st at midnight.

Today I'm going to take a break from my calendar and share a Christmas card.

I stamped the flowers, colored with Prismacolor pencils, and then cut out in 2" circles.  The center sentiment was covered with Glossy Accents and then layered onto the decorative circle from the 'Once Upon A Time Die'.

Tip: I never liked the way my paper buckled when adding Glossy Accents.  I've now learned that covering the back with a repositional dot tape runner and sticking it to my craft mat will keep it flat till dry and prevent buckling.

The scalloped border is created with Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One die.
