Heartfelt Creations_A Gift

Today is Heartfelt Creations Wednesday and I would like to share an idea for some quick and easy cards.  In each of Heartfelt Creations paper packs there is a sheet of twelve beautifully designed 3" x 4" tags.  I simply stamped and embossed a sentiment, added a punched border on one side and stitched some gold embroidery floss through the holes (love punches with holes!), added some glitter, layered on the card and then added a bow.  Quick and beautiful!

These would make beautiful gift sets; I'm especially thinking of a dear, sweet widow lady who lives in a nursing home.

I made a gift bag to place them in, again using one of the tags for the front.

Directions
Gift Bag: Cut DP 4 1/4" x 12", score at 5 3/4" and 6 1/4", ink the edges and fold at score lines. Stamp NOEL on inside and emboss. Cut a strip of DP 2" x 9 1/2", score at 1/2", 4 1/2", 5", and 9". Ink the edges, fold on score lines and glue 1/2" tabs together. Use score-tape to attach to inside back of bag. Attach snaps at top center front and back. Cut a piece of green DP 3 3/4" x 4 1/4". Cut black cs 3 5/8" x 4 1/8", ink the edges and attach layers.  Stamp and emboss tag and add glitter. Punch a 1" x 4" piece of DP and add to tag. Sew through punched holes with embroidery floss. Add to black layer and then add panel to front of bag. Stamp, color, and add glitter to lantern and berries. Die cut. Add to tag with bow. Stamp and emboss sentiment and die cut, add glitter and rhinestones. Thread seam binding through snaps and tie. The finished size of the cards is 3 3/4" x 4 1/4" and they are made the same as the front panel. 
Cards:  Cut base of card 4 1/4" x 7 1/2", fold in half.  I did two in DP and two in card stock.  Cut next layer 4 1/8" x 3 5/8", add to card.  Stamp and emboss sentiment on tag, add glitter.  Punch border from DP, layer on tag and add stitching.  Add to card and add bow.
